Mrs. Nixon hails from Houston and is proud to be, at minimum, a seventh-generation Texan on her father’s side, although she grew up in northern Arizona.

With 15 years of experience in healthcare, Mrs. Nixon’s most recently worked in the emergency setting but has also held roles as a registered nurse in management, home health, neuro, and acute rehabilitation. She earned her master’s degree from the University of Phoenix and joined Sun Life equipped with the latest evidence-based practice guidelines, having been board certified since 2024. She has been with her wonderful husband for 13 years, and together they are parents to five smart and beautiful daughters, including a set of identical twins! In her free time, she enjoys family gatherings, hiking, camping, reading, and engaging in homesteading activities.

Mrs. Nixon chose to pursue a career as a Nurse Practitioner because she aspired to reach the top of her profession. She finds great fulfillment in identifying health deficiencies in her patients and helping them regain their maximum functionality and independence. Looking ahead, her goals include becoming fluent in Spanish and mastering the art of soap making.
