Dr. Jose Rapanan was born in Manila, Philippines and moved to Seattle when he was 18 where he completed his undergraduate degree. He then moved to Phoenix for his medical training and fell in love with the heat, he never left Arizona since. He is fluent and Tagalog. His hobbies include hiking, weightlifting, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. His special interest includes management of chronic conditions such as type 2 diabetes, hypertension, and Obesity.

Dr. Rapanan states, as a primary care physician, working in a community clinic allows me to make a tangible difference in people’s lives every day. The opportunity to provided holistic, compassionate care and fostering long term with my patients is deeply rewarding. Being at the forefront of preventative medicine and health promotion empowers me to be proactively address community health needs. I strive to enhance the overall well-being of my patients, promoting healthier and happier lives.
