Derek Carpenter is a Certified Physician Assistant and joined Sun Life Health’s Family Practice in April 2016.

Derek completed his Bachelor of Science in 2009 at Arizona State University in Tempe, AZ, majoring in Family and Human Development. He completed his Master Degree in Physician Assistant studies in 2014 from AT Still University, in Mesa, AZ.

Derek is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Arizona State Association for Physician Assistants.

Derek is an Arizona native. He enjoys spending time with his family, playing racquetball, and dabbles in carpentry.
