Originating from Arizona, Mrs. Kerrie DeCastro is happily married and has one daughter. Prior to her journey as a midwife, she accumulated over 14 years of experience as a registered nurse, acquiring a wealth of knowledge in various clinical settings such as hospice and palliative care, long-term care, behavioral health, labor and delivery, and gynecology.
Kerrie’s decision to pursue a nursing career was sparked by the experience of supporting her best friend during her labor and birth. She instantly fell in love with the labor and delivery process, realizing that she had discovered her true calling.
With each birth she attended, her passion for midwifery deepened as she witnessed the profound impact midwives have on the well-being of mothers and their newborns. This motivated her to elevate her career and become a midwife.
Kerrie is dedicated to supporting women throughout their lives and firmly believes that every woman deserves personalized, safe, and evidence-based care.
In her free time, Kerrie enjoys scuba diving, taking Disney vacations, and traveling to tropical destinations with her family and friends.
